Laptop Handloom Weaving DIY Kit

Cloth is the second most important physical requirement of human life, but we seldom know how it is made, leave alone making one ourselves.

It is Krida’s humble effort to bring this amazing knowledge and experience to the toddlers. Krida’s Laptop Handloom Weaving DIY Kit consists of the wooden frame with 18 – 20 slits in it, a Wooden Needle, White Cotton Yarn for Warps and 5 different coloured cotton Yarn for Wefts.

Tie the Warps as shown in the image and insert the Weft into the needle and tie a knot at the end of it and start weaving. For further clarity, please refer to the video.

Once the cloth is woven. remove the warp from both the ends and the cloth is ready to be used as Tabletop Cloth, Coasters or Wall Hangings.

Tie new Warp? to weave the new cloth. Additional Warps and Wefts can be purchased from Krida.

This fantastic DIY kit gives a unique soothing calming experience to the kids and the joy of making something. The weaving exercise also improves their fine motor skills and enhances their concentration.
